South Central Missouri includes the entire counties of Phelps and Dent. Portions of Pulaski, Maries, Crawford, and Texas counties are also included.

Phelps County includes the towns of Rolla, St. James, Newburg, Doolittle, Lane Spring, Jerome, and Edgar Springs. In Dent County, you will find Salem, Bunker, Lenox, Lecoma, Anutt, Lake Spring, Jadwin, and Cherryville. Ft. Leonard Wood, Waynesville, Crocker, Iberia, and St. Robert are in Pulaski County. Located in Maries County are Vienna, Vichy, Belle, Safe, and High Gate. Cuba, Steelville and Bourbon are in Crawford County. Texas County has Licking, Elk Creek, Roby, and Raymondsville.

The Mark Twain National Forest, Indian Trail State Forest, Montauk State Park, and Short Bend Conservation Area are all found in South Central Missouri. Rivers include the Gasconade, Bourbeuse, Current, Maries, Meramec, and the Big Piney.
